Sam Smith seems to be doing a gig in Monaco on the Sunday of Glastonbury, so if he plays it will be on Friday and the second of four consecutive days. I had thought he was nailed on but guess that makes it unlikely.

Franz Ferdinand & Sparks' collaborative project FFS is playing inMusic in Croatia a few days before Glastonbury.

I would assume it's called that because you hear Sparks are playing and think "ooh great" but then you're told Franz Ferdinand are also involved and you're all "for fuck's sake".

This has been long time coming, but proper shows to?! Fantastic!

Tallest man on earth has a small glasto shaped hole in his touring schedule (whilst he's in europe) - based on these tour dates he doesn't seem at all adverse to playing multiple days in a row so I'd say he must be quite likely to play glasto. Would be a shame if he wasn't booked, a nice sunset park slot of his would be great.

Loving the new TMOE track. Quite different from his earlier stuff but just as strangely uplifting and melancholic. Really hope he gets a slot, but those European dates don't make me overly optimistic

Would like Everything Everything to play, and EOTR announced a big list today - Diagrams (headed by former Tunng mainman Sam Genders) on that list. Would love them to be at GF too, but I'm not sure they fit the 'profile', despite it being so diverse.

New festival on the weekend of Glastonbury. Some potential acts. Window appears to be closing on Caribou though now with four festivals between Thursday and Monday, which isn't good.
