West Holts seems like the best fit, but for discussion purposes how's about headlining John Peel? MGMT headlined in 2014 so wouldn't rule it out.

WH tends to have the more electronic headliners of the two stages (Disclosure, Flying Lotus, Underworld) most of the time, but i think they could probably do JP as well. obviously WH would be the preferred choice though and is where i think they'll end up when/if they're booked

Yep couldn't rule out JP after Norman Cook and M83 this year, just think WH is more suited

Oh I hope so too, haven't seen a WH headliner the last two years after finishing there the previous two years to those. Great stage to close with :)

No one cares about them these days, so can't see them being high up.

I personally think they'd draw a decent crowd anyway, even before the release of their new album. If that hits the mark, then they will certainly be a decent draw. If they play, wouldn't expect them anywhere other than a headline slot if on WH or JP.

The Warehouse project announce their line ups next week. I haven't been for a few years.

I signed up as you get first dibs on tickets for 24 hours apparently.

I just have a feeling they'll pull something out of the bag I want to see... Cirez D. Nothing more than a hunch, but he hasn't played up here other than Creamfields in years.

I signed up out of curiosity more than anything, just incase there's something seriously good. I shall inform if I'm using it or not so it can go to good use if I'm not

Store Street probably isn't good enough a venue to justify the trip down from Glasgow unless it's for something very very good

Yeah I agree about the venue. Given a choice between Store Street and Victoria Warehouse I much preferred the Warehouse, even with the awful one way system!

Boddingtons was 2 rooms for the one we went to (Soulwax) but some nights were only one. It was rammed yeah.

The police were everywhere too. It was right next to strangeways prison and for some reason the police were unhappy.

EDIT - 10 YEARS AGO!!

Victoria warehouse was horrible and store street, whilst more intimate is just as bad, both are incredibly oversold. The Bicep and New Order nights last year were pretty unpleasant at times - partly because store street can't cope when there's one big artist everyone wants to see.

Not entirely sure I'll bother to go this year, unless there is a truly stellar lineup. Most of the lineups tend to be very similar year on year.

I was about to say, I don't really forecast there being anything massive to draw me there. There might be a big JESuS show or Prydz or something

The line ups are always good, there's no doubt about that. But as the zeros says, very sameish
