Study? Outside of exam period? For an undergraduate degree?

Were/are you mad?

You did uni massively wrong. I bet you even came out of it with a 2:1 or higher. Travesty, what a waste of all those student loans

University was never about studying, but learning from "life experiences" eg drinking, partying etc.

At least that's what I tell myself, having secured a 2:2!!

In my defense i was 31 when I started uni and it was my only chance. When I should have been doing it during my early 20's, I was too busy trying to be a dj/promoter/old skool raver.

I should really be doing that rather than wasting my time trying to get a career sorted. Life's too short

Skills pays the bills. No pay, no play. Had to work just to be able to afford the vinyl. You wanted a rare tune then you had to pay the big bucks. Dj's have it so so much easier these days.

I remember being absolutely gutted when The Arches shut in Glasgow in similar circumstances, and that wasn't somewhere I'd visit all too often. Fabric is going to be such a loss, it's terrible it's came to a point where this is happening and the authorities still won't open their eyes to the real problems

As an individual club I don't mourn the loss of Fabric - its generally awful clientele meant I hadn't been in years and would probably have never gone again.

But if a club as established, as co-operative with the police and as fruity with the searches on entry as Fabric can be shut down then I dread to think what will happen to other places.

I never went to fabric. The venue means nothing to me. The idea closing  it is to "solve a drug problem" is ridiculous.

It is about 1 thing.. money. Its a dangerous precedent which is being set here. I hope it can be saved, but the game is rigged.

For some reason, this video is what went through my head when I heard it was to close....
