Motor City Drum Ensemble is playing Field Day and has nothing else announced until the week after glastonbury in Croatia, he's one of the electronic acts I want there the most, let's hope!!

Not to dash your hopes but seem to remember him being around and about in June and not making it over to Glastonbury before. Have everything crossed though! Less reliance on the same old faces would be great.

My hopes are hung on him having come slightly more into the public eye since the festival, I'm hoping they'll book him up. You're right on the same old faces, they done alright last year with Adam Beyer and Techno Friday, now they need to keep it up  and branch out more

finally got round to listening to the Floating Points album after seeing his name repeatedly pop up on here and having had it downloaded for a while now. it's a bit great isn't it? hope he makes an appearance

Yes it bloody well is, FF!

I've 'officially' made it my AOTY for 2015. When the drum rhythms of Silhouettes starts to kick in and the sliding pitch synth pops in behind it, it just makes me smile. Every time. My great hope is for him doing both a live set and a DJ set (or 5) at GF2016, 'though I'm a bit anxious that, if anything, we'll only get the latter. If he did play live, where do you think it would be?

I wondered about the 'Dorian Concept Slot' on WH, which was one of my highlights of last year's festival. But then I think about it again and just feel that, unlike DC who fitted perfectly, FP, live or DJ, needs to be in the dark...

So, where would he fit? Glade? Or somewhere a bit out there - like The Gully?

Could he play on The Park? If Goat can play second from the top, why not Flo Po?

That would be incredible. But I wonder if he's not 'big' enough, as an electronic artist. To play 'one below' Jon Hopkins who is so well established etc.

Saying that, I would love it if he did!

I doubt it myself Ben, but it's easy to let your heart rule your head, just having Flo Po there is enough, him having an incredible slot would simply be the icing

I want Nils Frahm to close The Park. Been thinking about it for months. Imagine it, up on the hill watching the festival below you.

With him playing his thing at the Barbican, you'd have to consider him likely to to play, I wouldn't argue against him playing that slot anyway that's for sure

I don't just mean headline.  I mean the Sunday night.  It has to be the Sunday night.  I sat up on the hill listening to James Blake as my last act of 2014.  Blissful.

That's slightly too prescriptive for me, S2H, in terms of my attempt to forego my OCD just for one week a year! However, I have NO doubt that whenever that man played, I would be in tears, and it would be just about the best thing I could see all weekend.

That Sunday night was clash central, Massive Attack/James Blake/London Grammar. How anyone ended up at Kasabian il never know, they'd be below Disclosure also on my list

Yes please. That would be so good. I'd never heard of him until about 2 years ago. He'd broken his thumb (I think), so as an exercise he composed an album that didn't use thumbs, and therefore not those notes the thumbs usually played. That really appealed to me, and if you see me playing piano, you'd know I was all thumbs.

I don't mind Disclosure, they are alright, but no match for the others. I watched Bonobo and then London Grammar, I have no regrets about that, I absolutely love their debut album, and they were a beautiful end to the weekend
