efcfanwirral
i have to say though, this year has to be a roaring success because i think snoop is the parklife connection, elbow and james are obviously the manchester connection and neil has said kaiser chiefs are looking at different slots than expected. They need to be able to follow it up next year. To be fair though, Example was the biggest headliner last year and seemed to love it based on his twitter so word may well get around. Example headlined Parklife the year before as well. Rudimental and New Order then for KC next year.
ramragon
I suppose when they have a licence and they're looking to expand over the next few years up to around 35k it's gonna attract a different set of acts.

That is all correct. whp/parklife have a small share in KC . I think KC sell the bar rights to whp/parklife. All i can say is that i enjoy getting a rise and taking the piss out of folk and situations .................. When i have called the the festival Manchester Calling it wasnt well recieved tbh ! And they run it their way!

Henieken and Bulmers appearing on the sponsor list is definitely a good sign that the bars are (hopefully) going in the right direction. Hopefully away from cans and the only cider being mixed fruits and pear! Edited February 17, 2015 by efcfanwirral
ramragon
The Koppaberg bar that only sold 2 varieties, cloud berry and elderflower and lime was heaving every time I passed it and the cider was in plastic glasses. Shame that doesn't look like its gonna be back as it was lovely

Maybe that bar will return, it would make sense as it was so busy as you mentioned.

Mind you I don't bother putting the cucumber in it to bring back the festival feel Edited February 17, 2015 by ramragon
