Comedyat Kendal 2015?

We went to Kendal this year and absolutely loved it and are planning to go again next year.

We did miss comedy as a comedy tent is one of our usual haunts at other festivals.

I just noticed on the 'Calling all artists' (http://www.kendalcalling.co.uk/news/calling-all-artists-2/) description that they are looking for comedians for 2015. So I'm wondering if there's likely to be comedy on the bill next year.

Does anyone know if historically Kendal has had a comedy tent?

I've been going since 2010 and there was a tent that was used for comedy in 2012. There are always a few comedy/non music acts but from what i remember 2012 is the only year there has been a tent dedicated to it.

We watched a comedian for a while on Saturday afternoon ( I think ). To be honest we were just getting out the rain. The tent was run by a Uni I think and they had comedians and political speakers on all weekend. Wooden benches and rugs in the tent plus it was dry. It was in behind the trees at the back of the main arena across from the kids tent. Our man was like a poor mans Russel Brand.......except funnier !
