yaniv297
Clashfinder has something that looks a lot more like legit set times... http:///s/ps15/?user=03hchq.nc Ride VS Run the Jewels is just brutal, man.

Dannyboyboy
the downside of having a great line up is having crappy clashes I guess, I wish that Thursday wasn't so packed with stuff I want to see. Sun kil Moon clashing with the Replacements is a bit heartbreaking for me. And Sleater kinney on the heineken stage is really annoying me. Transform much better to a live setting, a lot less talky, and you'll probably have less chances to see them again. ilbeyene
Worst clash to me is Black Keys vs Chet Faker. Also second part of Einsturzende Neubauten vs first part of Interpol and Run The Jewels vs Ride are sh*t. Beer will decide for me when I'll be there. home to you
DIIV/Foxygen clash is another tough one for me! Foxygen are apparently splitting up for good but DIIV's 'Oshin' is one of my favourite album's of this current decade! The Sunday is shaping up superbly overall though don't you think? They're apparently not splitting up. It's Star Power's Farewell Tour - so the band they'd assembled around Foxygen or something - which is strange but I guess it's in a similar vein to Ziggy Stardust's farewell show. bocumaroy
Not really bothered about clashes, they’re inevitable with such a good lineup. The only one that’s really posing a dilemma for me right now is whether to go for Interpol or the more eclectic and adventurous (and maybe more ‘interesting') duo of Einstürzende Neubauten and Les Ambassadeurs. The only real extended ‘dead time’ for me is when The Black Keys are playing. Also, for anyone who’s been before, how long does it take to get from one side to the other? So in the case of this year’s map, Addidas Originals to Heineken? Also, although they seem pretty close, what about ATP to RayBan? So... Also, although they seem pretty close, what about ATP to RayBan? Yeah the dead zone around Black Keys is frustrating ... will catch the end of Spiritualized and then re-charge for SMD Based on the new placings getting from Addidas to Heineken will take about 15 mins (give or take traffic) its a fair old trek so plan yr schedule accordingly. If you are on the left hand side of the ATP crowd then only a min or two to get to Ray Ban, however if in the middle of ATP crowd then it will take longer, plus factor in the stairs at Ray Ban which can get congested at busy times. Back to clashes: surprised Belle & Sebastian aren't on one of the "main" stages and so now they clash with Damien Rice. Sadtimes
FloorFiller
proper start and finish times have been announced now which is good - Swans rather appropriately getting two and a half hours (although right in the middle of clash central for me so will probably have to give them a miss ) still some awful decisions to be made but reckon it's gonna be a hell of a weekend! Glastonbury's been taking up most of my attention lately but now the stage times are out i'm absolutely stoked for this (although hope the Glastonbury times come out soon so i can make some decisions on who to see where) Edited May 7, 2015 by FloorFiller
yaniv297
Black Keys time is annoying indeed... why can't Brand New or someone move to that slot . Unknown Mortal Orchestra VS Interpol is tough too! Anyone who knows the site - how feasible it is to watch the entire Mac DeMarco show (Heineken Stage, ends at 21:00) and than run to see Tori Amos at the Ray Ban? Also similarly, watching the Ride show at Primavera Stage than running to catch something of DFA1979 at Ray Ban... yaniv297
Have you seen this?? It's the Els Vermuts del Primavera al Parc amb Martini stage in Parc de la Ciutadella. A whole bunch of festival acts are playing there. It's for free and it's before festival times (12:30-16:00) meaning it can seriously ease some of the clashes! For example, Unknown Mortal Orchestra play there, so now I can watch them AND Interpol (who clash with them later). Other festival acts include Twerps, Hiss Golden Messenger, The Ghost of..., Single Mothers and Ex Hex.

Also similarly, watching the Ride show at Primavera Stage than running to catch something of DFA1979 at Ray Ban... Judging from last year its a little easier to get from the Primavera stage to Ray Ban quickly, though it would depend on where you were in the crowd. it's probably like a 5 minute run, you gotta run up some stairs and across a path (road basically) which can be painful because of all the concrete haha. Last year the heineken stage area seemed really busy, didn't get close to the stage there for anyone but didn't really try that hard to be fair. But that area always seemed to be full of people who didn't move for some reason so i kind of labelled it my least favourite stage. when we saw Real Estate we were ridiculously far back (for Real Estate!) but i'm sure with effort and planning its easier to get closer, although then harder to get out if you wanna rush off. All the stages that aren't primavera and heineken are really close together so it's easier.

This is worrying... I was kinda hoping that because of the split to 2 main stages, and the general lack of huge names, it'd be easier to get good spots. Oh well, we'll try to get early enough for the good acts. It's in Parc de la Ciutadella, outside the festival area. I've never been there too, but according to google maps it's about 15 minutes drive from the site. Should be easy to get via public transport. As for alcohol, you can't bring drinks unless it's water bottles. There are pubs all around the festival. No idea about prices, probably much cheaper outside. BTW, Anyone knows about drug policy? (weed, nothing more extreme). Is smoking weed in the festivla tolerated? is it possible to bring it in, or buy inside? Thanks
theimportance
Is it easy to see the Primavera stage from the Heineken stage and vice-versa? I'm hoping to see Sleater-Kinney from afar while getting a good spot for Ride, same for Interpol while getting a spot for The Strokes. Other than a few conflicts, I'm really liking the schedule. Thanks. Pretty manageable in comparison to Glasto. Is there limited access to the site on Wednesday, with only the ATP stage running? Quite fancy seeing Cinerama and OMD. DaveElNino
If you stand to the side you get a very distant view, but if you want to be right in the middle of the front section, then no. I was very near the front for The National last year and missed most of Pixies. You could probably catch half of S-K and Interpol before going in if you wanted to be in the front section. On the Wednesday it's just the ATP stage open at the site - and it's open entry to anyone. I went down last year for Sky Ferreira and it was great just to get a feel of the place (and to sort out the wristband / card before the festival). Can't believe it's less than 3 weeks away. I've managed to avoid most clashes - though that might be due to having fewer "must-see" acts than I could do. Only real one is Sleater-Kinney VS The Hotelier which I'll make my mind up at the time. Looking forward to seeing a lot of acts that I've not had the chance to before - Dan Deacon, Ought, Viet Cong, Run The Jewels, New Pornographers, Julie Ruin, and tUnE-yArDs - which I rarely seem to get elsewhere.
