i thought his performance on Letterman was a bit shite and attention-grabby so it put me off the album initially, but thankfully, it's brilliant. gonna do big things for him

I didn't see this, although I don't usually enjoy Letterman performances anyway. I shall stay clear of it, but hopefully he's good at doing real live shows.

Been out for a while, but I really like Club Meds by Dan Mangan + Blacksmith. Massive grower, passed me by completely on first listen but I keep going back to it now.

Everything Else Matters by Pinkshinyultrablast, and Desperate Journalist S/T are also pretty good. Gave that Father John Misty album a go but couldn't get into it, only lasted a few tracks.

Really like Chateau Lobby #4 (albeit it is just a Fleet Foxes soundalike), but couldnn't get on with Bored In the USA and the first run throgh of the Father John Misty album left me a little bit like 'Hurm'. I'll persevere, though - it's theoretically my bag.

Father John Misty's new album is wonderful.

I know seeing an album called "I Love You Honeybear" makes you think "U fookin wot, mate?", but, listen to it.

It was not what I was expecting and it feels like the lyrics are at odd what you'd expect from the music/tune part....I liked it though I think.

While I like both bands better seperately, I think, I'd love to see either/both of them at Glastonbury this year. An ERC set (with Maxine Peak, obviously) would be fantastic.

I know it has been out for around 2 weeks now but I've only just around to listening to it but has anyone on here listened to the new Title Fight album? There is changing your sound and then there is that
I think it is good but it is lacking a bit of punch, like something is missing but at times it really does shine but I'm still struggling of what to make of it. When I'm listening to it I don't think it is that bad but when I reflect on it my opinion on it seems to fade. Bit weird, but hey

I heard that song with just Charli the other day live and its a hundred times better without Rita Ora on there.

But yeah Sucker is pretty awesome! Heard most of it already of course, but the extra songs are good enough for an album.

I am disappointed we didn't get a nice special edition viynl release over here though, their not even marketing the CD. Just links to itunes all the time! (If I am going like a pop album, I want something shinny and glitery to celebrate it!)
