thewayiam
Definitely don't see Foo Fighters playing both Glastonbury and R+L, as you're predicting. It's a strange one, I'm only taking it from FF being a strong thought for Glasto and Neil reckoned as most that FF would be counting Reading money. The chances are that Reading would have already got a deal together for them by Glasto as until then nothing was on the cards for FF not to be able to make it. Chavmeisterdeluxe
Has Adele headlined Glastonbury before? Because they apparently only have one new headliner this year so it can't be her and Foos if she hasn't. Her odds are based on a surge of bets whereas Foos is probably just because of them pulling out last year rather than any info.

thetime
Did you know Matt Bellamy has two cats called Kim and Kanye This probably even exceeds my obsession with Bjork..
Gucci Piggy
This probably even exceeds my obsession with Bjork.. Hahaha, it was said in an interview with Matt and Dom I think. Think it was at the time Kanye turned up to one of their shows and bought loads of merch or something.
DomDom1984
I'd put a lot of money on Adele not headlining Glasto. But then again, I'd also put a fair chunk on Michael Eavis talking utter pish.
Gucci Piggy
Mathieu Flamini to headline. Mathieu Debuchy to do the lights when he gets sacked from football.

If you're including SOAD amongst the nu-metal scene then you're just flat wrong rating Linkin Park.

What other scene do yoi want me to include them against? lmao. It's not including as you say, they just were! This comment is silly on all levels. I don't see Slaves up to 4th yet and Neck Deep and Mallory Knox sub and 3rd NMR is too high when you have Twenty One Pilots as a sub too. This comment is silly on all levels. I want you to grow up and stop thinking that everything fits in specific groups that you can tick a box to say whether they are or aren't that. Be it headliners for a festival, in specific scenes, academy tourers, whatever. Not going to happen though

mrtourette
Kanye wouldn't be a bad shout, actually. Reading and Leeds seem to like booking headliners the year after they've headlined Glastonbury. Metallica, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Kings Of Leon and The Killers all case in point. So 5 out of 24 headliners in that period, three of which had already headlined before and the other to of which had played before, constitutes liking booking headliners a year after they've played Glastonbury? Sounds like a bullshit pattern being created out of coincidence, those bookings had nothing to do with headlining Glastonbury the year before. I almost used the word pattern in that post, but decided against it. Dirty word, and I dare not use it near gazza gazza's cousin thewayiam. Be it headliners for a festival, in specific scenes, academy tourers, whatever. Not going to happen though Wooah lol! What do you mean you want me to grow up and stop thinking things fit into places? It's not a thought you fool, SOAD are a nu-metal band, it's not a made up thing lol. LP have probably had more success off of their 1st two albums than all the SOAD albums together. So while I'm apparantly needing to grow up, take your head out of your arse, look at the facts and then you can stop using your own view to decipher your bullshit. justanothername
Regardless of what you think of LP, you can't dismiss they had a previously very relevant place in their field of music producing one of, in my opinion the best album in the nu-metal perioud we'll go for and it's stood the test of time. Lol and if you count these as Nu-Metal Also Hybrid Theory sounds like arse today and has aged terribly and I still like the album (mainly for nostalgia reasons). People really overate it and its impact on music, which there really wasn't much of anyway.

So you're saying that The Cure are going to headline in 2016 because of the 4 year rule?
