Wolf Alice

AWOLNATION, Bloc Party, Mallory Knox, Neck Deep and Slaves are all just a bit too high, I'd say Wolf Alice probably arent big enough for 4th yet either. Circa Waves are far too low, had a sold out run of O2 Academy's. Pulled Apart are probably not gonna be in the same slot as 2014, I could see them doing a nice FR slot though.

Mostly right on the acts, I think a lot of those will play, just odd placing for a few

Aww thanks. I'll try my best to repopulate the rest of the world, I'm sure it's doable.

Well you have a shite sense of humour.

It's not Bloc Party without the dog.

True.

Couchy mate I wanna upvote all of that and all your life.

Who is your fave poster? I tried to find you at Glastonbury but failed.

Couchy I don't even care if you hate me all night. Next time we go to the same festival I'm meeting you.

Edit: Even when you shouted at me for saying your full name. One day I'll see you and it'll be sick bants.

I think Wolf Alice could play 3rd. Same slot as Royal Blood, Imagine Dragons, Foals, The Vaccines, The National, Dizzee Rascal etc. which seems to be a "rising stars" slot. I can see them getting pretty big.

In 2016??

not too sure about that VCK. I think that they are pretty good and that their success has be of a considerable magnitude but bands like Royal Blood shot through they roof like no other band I've seen. And even then I though 3rd down on the Main Stage at Reading was a slight push for Mike and Ben who seem a lot more appropriate to the job. They had to work their socks off. And also they really do have about 3 household tracks and 3 others that are pretty popular too. Wolf Alice, who I was very much wowed by at The Pilton Party, don't have the same strength in hits in my opinion.

right you are! Wolf Alice have been somewhat successful but third on Main seems like a huge push. fifth seems about right, or possibly fourth on a weak day

on a weak day

yep the inevitable weak day...

To be fair I like the position Reading have put them self in for this year. With the contrast between Mumford, Metallica and The Libs, they really could go anywhere. And i get the impression that people are in for repeat headliners. I think that the acceptance of an indie, metal, rap or just plain alternative headliner, the bucket list for Melvin and co is huge. Plus with the passionate nature of the Reading goer to listen to rising bands i.e. Foals, if they were to be booked they'd go down a storm.
