Haven't day tickets sold out every day for a few years now? Why would the day Stone Roses headline be any different?

They were nothing like sold out this year, it was WAY busier on Metallica day than the other two. They may have 'sold' them to various tout sites but as far as actual attendance is concerned it was not close to being full on any day i dont think.

I think Courteeners and The Charlatans are possibly involved as Tim Burgess and Liam Fray both tweeted 16 lemons

I still don't think they're very likely for R+L, possibly 2017 when they've released a new album

They're supporting them at the Etihad

Good Charlotte just announced that theyre back

It's be awesome to see them but not sure what slot they'd get

Lol, what

No

That being said, I did like them when I was younger but those were some dark times. I know like 3 songs and there all ones I'll singing in Corp when I'm smashed but I still wouldn't see them as they're w*nk

I'd be all for a Good Charlotte appearance and I would be there singing every word. Loved them when I was younger. 5th down Main Stage like Panic! this year would be about right I think.

Not even surprised

I can understand this 'cos you're about the same age as me but the posters that were embryos when acts like Good Charlotte and other early-2000's nonsense were around always manage to confuse me with their nostalgia.

Yeah I know what you mean, I'm 23 so bands like GC, Sum 41 etc are the bands I grew up with, so its always nice to stick one of their albums on every now and again. Its the same for Limp Bizkit at R&L this year. They aren't a band that I've listened to much for years and years, but I still knew all the words to everything they played and it was the most fun I had all weekend.

Potential for so much nostalgia next year, grew up with Good Charlotte, Sum 41 (new album coming) All-American Rejects (new single last week, it's shit tho) etc. Andre is spot on too, Limp Bizkit absolutely nailed their set, much to my surprise, and I think if Good Charlotte brought the same sort of energy it would go down great. The Anthem / Festival Song would be huge.

To be fair all their shitty songs that came out when you were young still got played on music channels and stuff for a while afterwards. When I was probably like 13 (7 years ago) I'd still see lots of Good Charlotte, Limp Bizkit, etc. on TV.

That's a good point actually. In fact I put Kerrang! TV on from time to time just to make sure it's still playing Freak on a Leash, Rollin' and Last Resort on a loop.

Like its her birthday was a right banger hahaha

Admittedly the later stuff has been worse but I'd still go nuts when they play the anthem

Like It's Her Birthday was never a banger and it never will be
