oneoftherest
I think Courteeners and The Charlatans are possibly involved as Tim Burgess and Liam Fray both tweeted 16 lemonsI still don't think they're very likely for R+L, possibly 2017 when they've released a new album Edited November 3, 2015 by oneoftherest
charley
Haven't day tickets sold out every day for a few years now? Why would the day Stone Roses headline be any different? They were nothing like sold out this year, it was WAY busier on Metallica day than the other two. They may have 'sold' them to various tout sites but as far as actual attendance is concerned it was not close to being full on any day i dont think. oneoftherest
HahahahOn another note, 30 Seconds To Mars do seem to be working on a new album so I don't think a sub slot for them is too far fetched

Andre91
I'd be all for a Good Charlotte appearance and I would be there singing every word. Loved them when I was younger. 5th down Main Stage like Panic! this year would be about right I think. Loved them when I was younger.I can understand this 'cos you're about the same age as me but the posters that were embryos when acts like Good Charlotte and other early-2000's nonsense were around always manage to confuse me with their nostalgia. oneoftherest
Like its her birthday was a right banger hahaha Admittedly the later stuff has been worse but I'd still go nuts when they play the anthem

Its the same for Limp Bizkit at R&L this year. They aren't a band that I've listened to much for years and years, but I still knew all the words to everything they played and it was the most fun I had all weekend. JSmurphy
Potential for so much nostalgia next year, grew up with Good Charlotte, Sum 41 (new album coming) All-American Rejects (new single last week, it's shit tho) etc. Andre is spot on too, Limp Bizkit absolutely nailed their set, much to my surprise, and I think if Good Charlotte brought the same sort of energy it would go down great. The Anthem / Festival Song would be huge.

When I was probably like 13 (7 years ago) I'd still see lots of Good Charlotte, Limp Bizkit, etc. on TV.

I actually dont like those songs that much now for exactly that reason, its literally every two hours those three songs will get played
