The venues that the enemy are playing are quite small to be fair and they never get booked for Reading so can't see that happening

I'm going to see them and like them but I don't think they're on a come back. It's a small tour that is selling well but their tours have always done fairly good but nothing record breaking with the venue sizes, just must have a bit of a fan base. I could see them playing though, maybe FR subs and they'd go down well like Ash/Feeder/The Subways have. The Enemy have played R&L twice I believe, 07 & 08.

Not been on here in a while. But anyone think 50 cent could be there next year? Recently did a tour, and filed for bankruptcy recently so will be looking to cash in. I know he got bottled off years ago but reading and leeds has changed a lot since then.

he filed for 'bankruptcy' as he supposedly didn't have a flow of cash to pay off some court order.

he still has enough money, just tried to get out of paying money out for some reason or another.

They've sold out Leadmill in Sheffield and shows here never sell out really so that's 900 people, would've thought entire tour was that kinda size?

I don't think you can call The Enemy a smaller band. They've nearly sold out their entire tour.

Why would Corp have big gigs, it has a capacity of about 12

Corp is awful

I'm working in the club night side of things at the moment.

Corp has capacity of 1,100 in the main room, used to get loads of the bigger tours through, mostly now it's just European metal bands

Nope, 1st time they have hit the Rumors page. I have to say, if FF and GNR headlined R&L this year, I'd find enough to on the bill to go back, in fact I'd have to buy a ticket pretty sharpish I'd expect. NME probably know jack as usual but I wonder given it's them whether IOW and R&L would do what they don't do except for when it's been The Prodigy on different circumstances and agree to let them play both fests? I would be a major shit on Download if it happened.

Corp has been that way for a while though? Also if you're bored go and see Every Time I Die there on Sunday, I think it is also meant to be a mini festival too
