You know that Ten and the Grunge scene were both in the 90's didn't you? Either way, Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins both released albums in the 80's but are part of 90's culture because of that being when they were massive.

Well grunge started in the 80s, the likes of Soundgarden, Mudhoney, Green River, Screaming Trees, Mother Love Bone were all active in the late 80s, but yeah, grunge is iconically 90s and only Soundgarden of the 80s acts really survived the explosion of the scene.

Apparently they're headlining 3 major festivals across US/UK, including Coachella.

I'm feeling pretty confident that it will end up being RHCP tbh, I'd be very happy if it is GnR or RHCP or foals, I have to admit this years fest seems pretty tight on who actually could play

Don't see them at R+L, they probably couldn't headline but they'd only be after headliner fees. Can see Bestival or IOW maybe splashing out on them though. Otherwise, looks like they'll be playing that new NY fest, Coachella, Primavera probably.

I'm aware, but I did say all those 3, didn't I? Did the source say anything about it being those 3 shows and only those 3 shows? If not, then Primavera would definitely be in with a shout of having them.
