If you're saying Disclosure aren't a fit for the festival (like those you listed) then why have they been booked twice in the last three years and drew decent sized crowds? If you're saying Disclosure are shite (like those you listed), then that has no relevance to if they're booked, R&L have booked a hell of a lot worse in the past and probably will do in the future too. Chavmeisterdeluxe
Are you not aware they've played before? Are you also not aware the the festival books a lot of acts similar to Disclosure? And that disclosure are nothing like any of the acts you listed? (other than them all being crap but that won't stop them being booked)

(other than them all being crap but that won't stop them being booked) I'm saying not for the main stage. The nme stage is directed to a more mainstream crowd so of course Disclosure would suit the target audience there. Its the same with deadmau5 this year, could you see them play the main stage? Eh since when is the NME directed to a more mainstream crowd? Deadmau5 played the NME stage this year because dance acts work better in the dark, which he wouldn't get on main. If they see Disclosure as being too big for the tent (which they probably will do), they'll play the main stage, like Chase and Status in 2013. NME isn't directed to a more mainstream crowd. Dance acts typically 'work' best in a tent and as dark as possible which is why Deadmau5 headlined the NME. He's not big enough to headline Main, and having him any earlier on main would be a bit silly.

But disclosure won't be in the dark if they're on the main stage (probably subbing).
Gucci Piggy
Just now, Shaun182 said: But disclosure won't be in the dark if they're on the main stage (probably subbing). I know. They'll try to put dance acts in the NME where they'll have darkness, but if the act is too big for the NME (like C&S and The Prodigy in recent years) they'll play main, as there's no other option. benus80
Did I imagine that in a interview last year Mr Benn said that disclosure are future headliners along with young fathers and foals.
