You're are correct but for what R&L will have to pay and do for a GNR reunion, something has to give and this could be it. I said ages ago that if Foals are in any type of heading slot then they need something major, this will be it.

And correct you may be, but I don't think they have purposely gone the anticipation building up since yesterday (when we thought it was probably going to be), just to announce something not at least half decent. I wonder if RW have got GNR as well on Friday and PJ aren't playing it.

I hope it's GnR but I don't think it will be. I'm not allowing myself to get my hopes up. It's kinda exciting that we don't know one of the headliners for sure yet but of course that means very little if it turns out to be Blink 182 or something equally shite.

I'd laugh so hard if it turns out to be Blink 182 with Matt Skiba  no chance though.

Me too but it's quite hard not to. You would imagine that if R&L have them then it's on exclusive basis and it'll be a race for tickets. I think they are one of few that could announce outdoor shows on sale at the same time and sell out comfortable but obvs I don't think that will happen.

I'm 95% sure that TDCC are one of the subs. However it could easily be on the Foals/Disclosure day so technically 3rd. This would make sense.

That Sunday mins ES is bliss......probably too strong a booking though. With GNR they won't pull out the stops for that day.

I quite like the idea of those coheadliners this time to be honest. Disclosure aren't my thing however they have been pretty huge and deserve a bit of recognition. Them moving to the main stage (which they'd have to) and playing in the daylight would've been shitty for them, so if they headline with Foals they get to close out one of the sites, maybe even both. They just need to not fuck it up by booking too many mainstage bands and having headliners play their full sets like 2011. It'd be cooler if they could get around the curfew so both headliners get a set in the dark - could do six coheadliners a year for me if they could wangle that at both sites.

I know it's not as necessary as it is for Disclosure but I think Foals would benefit from playing in the dark too, so if they're on first at both sites then it's a bit unfair.
