I'm sure that the 'Knife Party' thing proved not enjoyable at all then. As expected. Never rated the move from Rob and Gareth.

Nah they're still doing that it alongside Pendulum by the looks of things, both of Knife Party and Pendulum have been announced for Ultra.

The main reason I thought they didn't like touring with Pendulum was because they were sick of playing old songs, I seen Rob go on a rant once about how he was sick of playing Blood Sugar live as it's over 6 years old but since it's one of their biggest crowd pleasers they can't really get away with dropping it. Whereas in Knife Party they can just play any random assortment of songs each night instead of the same ones like in Pendulum

They also mentioned the cost of dragging all the kit around. There's the whole Rob being awkward on stage too. He's not the most charismatic of people...

I think Sum 41 would actually get TOO big a crowd for the lock-up; reckon they'll take a similar slot to the one Papa Roach had in 2014.

I would agree it cold be crazy. They still have a decent following even though their size isn't what it once was. Looking forward to seeing them indoors in Feb. Speaking of PR, beings they aren't to my knowledge doing any early summer fests next year and have made a point of saying they'll be back in 2016 after cancelling support for Deftones, I'm wondering if R&L have snapped them up again, I don't see any place for them now at Download. 5th down below ATDI 4th (hoping) on main or 3rd down NME.

And still in another RAR announcement ATDI aren't there, I think Reading may well have an exclusive on these, I can see them possibly being announced in the same way that AOF were.

I do however think that although it's rare that Download get the big acts from Groezrock, they did with The Offspring and I'm half expecting them to pull Rancid in but should they play Reading then it's promoising.

Could we say the same for Bloc Party?

Most defo but they were nailed on anyway. I am seeing Sum 41 already but it may be that good it'd add to it. Feeling a little like there could be something decent this year but then I said last year might be enough to persuade and it wasn't.
