Surely Guns N' Roses will play IOW as they have a headliner left to announce and they always blow the budget on headliners so would be nothing new

If there is talk of two festivals next year then I can see R&L snapping them up this year and then Download obviously and IOW next year. This makes most sense as they ticket off the UK the same weekend.

Thoughts on Deftones playing? 

They're playing download and should have a new album out by august, plus they've done reading/leeds a bunch of times before.

Deftones won't play. They playing Download, like you said, and last time they got a pretty small crowd. Would like to be wrong though as I love me some Deftones

I'm kinda hoping for a shit line up so I don't have to go. I'm on 6 festivals already this summer and another will either kill my marriage or my liver. Or both.
