No mention of the Vaccines, they have some great songs and a definite RandL band. I expect they'd be a definite Sub contender. Maybe even coheadline with Foals instead of Disclosure? Didn't think too much of their last album but regardless, they have a great backlog.

  Thoughts?

They went from playing 3rd at Glastonbury to 4th down on the Other Stage in the space of two years. They're just another Kooks, Fratellis, Enemy etc.

Out of curiosity what would be everyones ideal headliners even if it would be completely unfeasible? Mine would be Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Prodigy

You talking just this year or in general? Queens of the Stone Age / Daft Punk / Rage Against The Machine would do me alright, but for obvious reasons we'll be getting none of them..

Couchy said that YM@6 aren't doing R&L this year and they'll be at Glasto next year. He said he knows one of the people in the band or something. He can't post because Neil killed his account for saying he smokes herb.

Tbf, it's quite easy to tell that YM@6 won't be doing R&L this year, they won't be one of the subs and that's where they would be now.

Saw Bobby Barnett do a solo set last night as he and his brother (Greg from The Menzingers) were just touring the UK together. Managed to speak to him as well and he said that he hoped to get his main band Captain, We're Sinking to play in the UK for the first time this year after they finish the next album. Basically what I'm saying is Captain, We're Sinking to play the Lock Up please

i'm not sure about Reading but at Leeds Radiohead's crowd thinned out significantly throughout their set when people realised it wasn't going to be wall to wall hits (i know the Reading setlist was quite different and more casual-friendly) so i'm not sure they'd be rebooked now that their material has gotten even less radio friendly and Reading's core audience has gotten a bit more laddish. think even a Glastonbury crowd would struggle with them these days
