Well the cheapest GNR tickets for their Vegas gigs were £55, top price was £245 or there abouts and standing was sold at around £175 a ticket. Both dates sold out obviously.

My only reservation over R&L is that regardless of the money, can they agree to pay what the band wants and charge only £70 after fees for day tickets, they defo can't make it happen without cutting back somewhere but it'll be huge if they get in before Download next year. Download would sell out off the back of BMTH, Metallica and GNR. I have a slight feeling that if they do bag them, their day tickets are going to cost more.

I'm not shitting you, I was at work with Kerrang on and Kate Lawler or whoever was on around 9:20 said about the band being on the show tomorrow morning and then proceeded to play a GNR song.

Red Hot Chili Peppers / Guns N' Roses / Foals & Disclosure would be a real strong set of headliners.

Those tickets for Vegas shows' were bought by people from all around the world and many of them missed those tickets. If GNR is announcing their 3rd date here they will buy tickets just to be sure that they'll see GNR. I don't know how many but those Vegas shows (around 40k) were sold out in 1 hour and those prices were

Given GNRs prices it would, that last two is still weak as fuck but I can see why R&L would turn away bigger to fund this more and steal a deal on them.

The 1975, ID and Pendulum Live set would make that a big top 6.

$275 for main standing plus fees is about £190 I think. Staggering!

I put it on around 9:15 and it was a little later. She played a GNR song straight after, I didnt check 100% the definite time but it was before 9:35.

Yeah I've just listened to around the period, she jibs on about them before playing The Estranged, just mentions that Kerrang have them on spotlight this week, will be playing more songs on tomorrow shows and something about having stuff on them in the issue, doesn't mention Radio 1.

I'll be massively disappointed if this materialises. RHCP are a headliner I'd happily see but wouldn't by a ticket for GnR don't appeal to me at all and turned up really late in 2010 so are even enough to push me away from Reading.

Or you could just, you know, not see them. There are other stages. I like GnR, but they're something of a guilty pleasure. I totally get why people hate them.
