It isn't just the fact that it is bands I don't like. Out of that announcement I have only vaguely heard of 6 and have only ever heard a song by 1 of them, which I wouldn't recognise if it was played to me again. Radio 1 certainly is the right place for Reading announcements!

Personally it was. I like Royal blood but had seen them loads already, don't care much about the others there and I really hate Mumford. Don't get me wrong though, that annoucement is really shit as well

I think one more indie band and one more heavy act wouldve made that an all round good announcement for every kind of fan

I was thinking that. I sat there listening through shit for 30 minutes just to hear them quickly mention the headliners.

I think that this is where DL announces better, on the Radio 1 rock show.

Out of all of those I'm really pleased with Disclosure and Parkway Drive. I would go and see Jack Ü depending on clashes, the same for Fetty Wap, but that's more because me and my friends have a running joke about Trap Queen

they have half a dozen announced already.

or Foals at least as i know there's a good chance Disclosure will be doing their Wildlife fest again

This is a good point and when I think about makes the line up look weak. Probably going to show up to a lot of festivals in lower slots so whats the point then?
