Lineup 2016

So far we have:

2 headliners (RHCP and Foals/Disclosure)

2 subs? (Imagine Dragons and 1975)

Then Courteeners and TDCC who'll be around 3rd on main. Jack U will close NME, BBK will sub the NME, so will Crystal Castles most likely. Still got a fair few bigger acts to come, surely?

Disclosure said on their Instagram post that reading was the first festival they ever went to as kids. It is a possibility for Foals to close out Leeds.

But so did foals as it is well know they first went to reading as punters as it is they local big festival being from Oxford.

Nothing for me so far Parkway Drive are good live and Chilis are ok if you are in the mood and don't mind listening to the same song for 90mins but that's it. TDCC have a brass neck even contemplating standing on that stage with instruments in their hands. They are an affront to guitar music. Weak, tepid and irrelevant. The musical equivalent of a cold, clammy, limp handshake from a man with a box of kleenex in his other hand. There will have to be some pretty inspirational further announcements now or I'm out.

I didn't even realise people still cared about Two Door Cinema Club this side of 2012, ditto The Vaccines for that matter who will probably play.

Are you sure TDCC won't be a sub as well? They have done enough to be there. The 02 later the same year as doing Ally Pally. Both Alt-J and BMTH did similar (the latter not doing the 02) before subbing. If they were 3rd down I don't think they would be exclusive as it doesn't hold enough weight, Bastille except for Boardmasters and Royal Blood did that and both weren't as big.

It feels like TDCC have been gone a little too long. Same thing happened to The Vaccines. They're more likely to move down lineups than up I would imagine. Exclusive will prob help them secure a decent enough position but still think they won't move up to sub.

Yeah but The Vaccines were 4th down Other at Glasto after bing 3rd down Pyramid, it's not going to get that bad lol.

Lol yeah not saying that but to be fair The Vaccines are still doing arenas... not sure how likely that will be for Two Door... I see them as a similar size band to The Maccabees (who strangely had a better slot at Glasto than The Vaccines)

If I was a betting man I am going to say the killers have a good shout of headlining and especially at 16-1 I have punt on that you heard it here first. P S I think they are an average band with a handful of amazing songs.
