WS_Jack_III
Didn't it get a 2nd season commissioned really early on?
ClemFandango97
There was a serious lack of Mike in retrospect, could have had a sub-plot with him reaching something of a climactic nature. Not much Chuck either.
viberunner
but yeah, didn't progress the story at all really It was a show about finally closing off his previous life and now Mr Sandman is on the scene... No more Mr Nice Guy.
Frrrraaappp head
Favourite line in the finale, "Hey, your not Kevin Costner." "I was last night." This is also an easter egg to the second last episode of Breaking Bad where Saul tells Walt that he convinced a girl that he was Kevin Costner. FloorFiller
Enjoyed that first episode a lot! Still loving all the nods to Breaking Bad as well
WS_Jack_III
Annoying bluetooth headset guy got done over again! Nice set up. Looking forward to the rest of it. Wish they gave us it in one go.
WS_Jack_III
When it finished this week i wasn't ready. I instantly wanted to see the next one.
bunique
I enjoyed the first series but this one is even better I think
WS_Jack_III
I love it when Jonathan Banks gets screen time. Crazy 8 this week as well.

Yep Mike's bits are definitely the highlights. Love when he gets his own elongated storylines. Just rewatched the latest ep and totally didn't notice that was Crazy 8 to begin with. The little nods to BB never fail to make me smile
WS_Jack_III
Starting to love these easter eggs. The ding of the bell before a certain character entered that final scene.
WS_Jack_III
So much symbolism going on with that cup holder in Jimmy's car. What happened, did you all stop watching?
ThomThomDrum
No still watching. Still enjoying. Saul being comfortable in sleeping in the crappy bed in the dodgy office was a great metaphor too I felt The Mike "big balls" Ehrmantraut story really grabs me. I find myself really perking up when it cuts to that. Really interesting as we know all the players and where they are heading but the how they get there is so intriguing. How Kim's story continues to evolve and ends is of real interest to me too considering she is not to be seen in BB. I do like the whole "Titanic Movie" feel to it all. You know the ending (to a large degree) but you are still kinda hoping it can be avoided, but yet really interested how it actually gets there

Love it when he's on screen. Yeah the crappy bed part goes hand in hand with the cup not fitting.
FloorFiller
Latest episode was one of the best ones yet I thought. Enjoyed every minute of it, but especially Mike's hijacking of the truck at the start. Intense cliffhanger as well - what the hell is gonna happen with Chuck?! ThomThomDrum
Yeah it was a top episode and Im still amazed how they can lull you into the story and fill you with hope that it all works out for Saul. Its going to be a hard watch when it comes crashing down but the cracks and issues are all there and have been set up lovely.
ThomThomDrum
Gus showing up and being involved on a regular basis has to have a high chance of happening if its not inevitable. Walter on the other hand may be a fleeting Easter Egg type moment. In fact the chances of Jessie showing up at some point with something "significant" to say is a lot greater than anything Walter may be able to offer

Reckon Jesse will definitely show up at some point, but it'd be much harder to shoehorn Walt in as he obviously had nothing to do with any of these people before BB started
WS_Jack_III
That was brilliant and horrible to watch, they built up to that nasty moment so well. also
WS_Jack_III
Awesome season! They did another cool transition shot in the finale. All the stuff with Chuck in the hospital was well shit too. Also Fring's Back! First letter of each episode is an anagram of that.
FloorFiller
rumours that Gus was supposed to appear in the finale but was cut to keep people guessing until the next season. knew he was gonna show up eventually. great season. seen a few people say that nothing happened, but i loved every bit of it
WS_Jack_III
There was a review that said it's pretty good even if not much happens. Certainly a slow burn, apparently Vince thinks it's going to fast as it is.
FloorFiller
It's back! What did people think? A slow burner (as is the norm) but this show, much like Breaking Bad, really knows how to amp up the tension. Watched the recap and had forgotten so much that had happened so will definitely need to give season 2 a rewatch in between episodes.
