Campervan tickets

Sorry total novice, I just wanted to double check I can't buy my campervan ticket before we pay our balance. I am anxious that I might miss out on a pitch... Arrrghhh! Haha!

Correct. You buy campervan ticket when paying balance. Same with car park tickets

As above, but don't wait too long as they go quite quickly. West is smaller, hence less tickets.

Nope, none are sold yet. All parking tickets, both CV and car are going to be sold during the dates in April when the balance needs to be paid. They are sold as 'East' or 'West', and come with the festival tickets that you pay for at the same time. The CV tickets sell out quickly although there have been flash posts of CV tickets after April, but posters have added to this forum about car park tickets being available on the day too.

It's not which one is better, it's which one will be better for you.

Think about where you are most likely to be at the end of most nights. If you're likely to be over on the West side (John Peel) or East side (Acoustic) then go for that CV Field. You don't want to have a long trek across the site at the end of the night when you're tired and emotional.

The hill from gate C up to the East campervan fields is a killer after a day + most of the night trudging round in ankle deep mud.....

I've got tickets so it's going to rain - I've never managed to get tickets for a dry Glasto yet....

West is less of a killer - but at the quieter end of the site.

how quickly do camper van tickets tend to sell out once the balance payment window opens?

will Thursday / Friday of this week be too late to buy for east? or do you really need to be on the ball tomorrow to get them?

Please can you add me to your list for East Campervan Pass, absolutely gutted they sold out so soon. We attended with our 1yr old, 2yr old and our 9yr celebrated her birthday there last year. Caravan makes it a breeze.
