Gwladboy
I'd be delighted if we had 2013 weather, that was pretty much perfect in my book.
mrsstocksey
I'd be delighted if we had 2013 weather, that was pretty much perfect in my book. Agreed Hoping there will be a bit more rain before the fesitival starts this year, just to make the ground slightly softer for putting tent pegs in....it was a nightmare last year! Jie Bie
The site took a pounding on the Friday and Saturday last year and seemed to deal with it OK. But I'm really not looking for a repeat of last year. I'd be delighted if we had 2013 weather, that was pretty much perfect in my book. The rain on Thursday night wasn't ideal but I agree weather was much better in 2013 than last year. I found last year a long hard slog when walking anywhere, especially around Silver Hayes / JP / Pyramid. Which wasn't ideal for us as we were camped at the top end of Bushy Ground! Hugh Jass
I can't get too hammered in the heat. I'd rather it be dry and 20° so I can enjoy myself properly Agree, went to Bestival about 3 years ago and it was so hot all day I couldn't start drinking until about 8-9 at night. Such a waste. SonOfTroyMcClure
As if THE NORTH will be sunny (according to those recent long-range forecasts) when we get rain down south for Glastonbury? All I hope for at the moment is that the ground is sufficiently dry as a bone before festival time.

Spindles
I remember one year it was predicting wind speeds and temperatures more akin to Mercury than Somerset, I wasn't sure if it was the 300c+ temperatures or the thousand mile an hour winds that made me more concerned. Mezhyp1
Early weather predictions are a farce, who cares, give met office a check a couple days before, and be prepared for any eventuality
WS_Jack_III
weren't most of them wrong last year anyway. I don't recall reading that thunder storms were due.

FuzzyDunlop
One of our group has only done two festivals. A mid 90's one that was pretty dry and hot and 2010. No point in worrying about it yet.... (Please don't be too hot) Edited May 29, 2015 by FuzzyDunlop
