Cooter
I wouldn't leave the dinghy at home, even if it's a heatwave you will need it for something The most important post this year, mark morphs words.
musky
3 with 1-10 being dustbowl - mudbath? I really wouldn't say it was that low. Probably around just past the mid-point, a 6-7 sounds about spot on because we got a bit of sun too so the ground recovered. At times it was pretty bad in some areas, not 2007 or even 2011 level but still. 'Tis true that Jackone sometimes overstates the impact of rain on the site, but I don't blame him given he's not been. Rain on Monday for example will mean naff all by Weds I'd have though Yeah 3 is probably too low on reflection, even though the festival did kick off to genuine dustbowl conditions (well, as close as we get in this country). I really didn't think it was too bad last year, with the track through Silver Hayes being covered in a thin layer of slush rather than the 4-5 inches of thick mud we often see. If Jackone has abandoned the mudbath ratings it's probably for the best. They just make for a convenient 'headline' summary but don't necessarily reflect what the weather will be doing. pedmills
Interestingly, of the 16 websites I am checking, exactly 16 (100%) of them are forecasting 0.0mm of rain for Wednesday and Thursday.

Michaels denim shorts
I know I should take everything but coming by shuttle bus, I don't have the luxury of a car so sometimes you have to make a couple of executive decisions. Last year I took wellies and boots and even when it was wet I just wore the boots and I was fine. I can only imagine wearing wellies in the most extremely wet conditions and no forecast is even contemplating that so at this stage I think I'll just take my boots, which I'd wear whatever the weather. Exactly, it's all good saying take them & leave them in the car, but I'm not taking a car I didn't get mine out of the car for the last 2 years, thought about it after the storm but didn't bother with the hike, and it soon dried up

Yep, Wednesday and Thursday seem pretty much locked in. Wouldn't want to see that low take a bit more a hold in the runs in an hour though. Cooter
I don't really have a dinghy. But now I think I should get one. Yep absolutely, a dinghy can be a sun shade, a load dragging thing, a flag, a large hat, a coat, bedding, picnic blanket, parachute, and of course a dinghy. There's a million other uses. Oh yeah, if you have proper boots then no need for the wellies! They still count as wet weather shoes.
pedmills
There is one site forecasting a whopping 12mm for sunday, but that is an outlier. The averages are 0mm for wednesday, 0mm for thursday, 0.6mm for friday, 0.1mm for saturday and 2.2mm on sunday. pedmills
There is one site forecasting a whopping 12mm for sunday, but that is an outlier. That 12mm has changed to 3mm now anyway, so the maximum for sunday is now 4.7mm.

parsonjack
Nights are warm - taking max still of around 19 at midnight. Warm nights means cloud cover...and at those temps suggests thunderstorms to me...I would rather we were looking at clear chilly nights. briddj
Fri: Bit more rain on the scene for the afternoon but still a minimal amount and not enough to cause any problems, and clear by tea time. Temperatures now two degrees higher to a humid 23, but cooling off in the evening. Edited June 21, 2015 by briddj
