Twist. Parts of the site were a mess. Walking up to the camper and back was a nightmare at times. And it was fucking freezing late doors too. There was ice on the mud when I was going back to the van on Sunday night/Monday morning.

Ill take 2013 again though.

Oh Nal you poor dear thing. Did you get mud on your boots?

YES!

And it took my houseboy all of the next morning to clean them. My breakfast was slightly late as a result.

Some people are so self absorbed they don't think of the knock on consequences of the bad weather.

I remember the videos of the workers in shangri-la the weekend before the festival last year, all taking a break and have a massive water fight as it was that hot. As soon as they posted that it seemed the weather took a turn. Just shows how quickly the weather on this country can change.

The only forecasts I really look at is the predicted weather on my app on my phone, check it each morning of the festival, it has hourly breakdowns and the last two years it has been spot on, even got the rain on the Thursday of 2013 down to the hour it started.

However he warned the extreme heat will trigger a spate of thunderstorms with sudden and heavy showers a risk in parts.

"These could bring the risk of some localised flooding due to torrential downpours in places, in particular, in some parts to the south of the country,"

this bit is slightly concerning but hopefully will just limit itself to a "keeping the dust down" early morning shower

Sounds like 2005.... 30 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday, before the site gets completely destroyed by the mother of all thunderstorms on Friday morning.

All the numbers make absolutely no sense to me, all i understand is from 5.1 to 7.4 on the positive side.

These are a big improvement. By my ratings, which are entirely subjective, they have gone from 5.1 out of 10to 7.4
