jeffie
I have to say, the two nights I was at Download it was pretty hefty rain, especially during Slipknot (one could ring out my shirt) ! The weather can't be as about bad as that. It really did wang it down. I'm bracing myself for rain and misery, so when the sun appears it'd feel heavenly. Were you there in '07? stopwn1981
Am I right in thinking it's looking real bleak at the moment? The inevitable total breakdown in settled weather on the Wednesday is being shown (couldn't script it). Hopefully it doesn't come to fruition, or at least gets pushed back a bit. All still to play for.

JoeyT
All the models seem to be pointing towards an unsettled period now. Obviously not a forgone conclusion but enough to suggest we all dust the wellies and waterproofs off...

The odd shower, cloudy and even a thunderstorm or to is fair enough. Persistent driving rain is total bullshit and puts a downer on everything. Big IF at the moment tho. FuzzyDunlop
Still too early to say a wash out yet. We can only hope it doesn't happen. What does look pretty likely is there will not be any days of oppressive 2010 style heat. Edited June 16, 2015 by FuzzyDunlop

Sounds bloody fantastic.
ghandi
What is it with this week in the year? Always seems to break up on Glasto week! That maybe not always the case if you look back and I'm sure i'll be proved wrong by statistics but it sure seems that way. You'd have though the Eavis would have thought putting it back a week or so.

Aragorn
God only knows where you are getting washout from - the GEFS Ensembles for Somerset from the 00Z run still look like most are going for a dry period on the whole, the operational is an outlier wghich is why the GFS charts might look abit nasty this morning
