On this website http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/gfs/royaume-uni/accumulation-precipitations/240h.htm

The accumulative rainfall is 6mm between now and Tuesday. This goes up to 7mm between 2pm and 8pm on Wednesday.

We can deal with 1mm of rain can't we?!

If the ground is currently dry it should be easy.

Things looking altogether more positive today

Netweather for Shepton Mallet (using Shepton as Pilton on netweather is awful and therefore they clearly mean the one in Scotland)

http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=10day;sess=

Though not sure it makes any sense. 0.0mm of Precipitation on Friday. Prec Risk 85%. If there is an 85% risk of no rain then that's OK, right!

You linked to scottish Pilton though?

Either way yeah I see where you're coming from. At least the predicted rain in the week leading up to it is minimal/the site should be bone dry. Which is what Jackone has been saying in his forecasts also.

I sense everyone has hit a bit of a low following the headliner announcement. Let's hope the afternoon runs continue on an upward trend and bring a bit of cheer to the boards

Yes, I think you're right there. I find speculation over the weather much more exciting than speculation over the festival itself.

Here's a nice map. There's a low to the North and a high to the South. It's just a question of where they fall, so I doubt there'll be any certainty for a few days, if at all. Having said that, I'd say that the likelihood of no rain is low, but the likelihood of mudbath is also low. Probably a few showers that won't cause mud problems.
