Convince me to move to London

I'm disappointed in myself for starting this thread, as made one not long ago on a similar theme and still haven't made up my mind or fully taken the plunge. Never the less, I seem to be looking for outside encouragement so here I go..

If anyone can suggest some reasons why I should move to the UK, specifically London, regardless of circumstance, go ahead..

Why are you inclined to ask about the UK, and specifically London? What is it you want from life that would make you err in the direction of coming over here?

I really wanted to go there for uni. After one term in Newcastle I was £700 overdrawn. Thank god I didn't go to London.

Don't you get more $$$ from your student loan for London?

Not that it matters, you'll end up shopping in "vintage" stores for overpriced second hand crap & desire ketamine so that levels it out

You do, yeah, but from what I've heard the extra money you get is nowhere near the extra amount you'll spend. It's so bloody big, as well.

I'd probably want to live there for a few years in like my twenties, actually. Would like to work there in my first job after graduating.

Want to live the dream? Good luck buddy.

My friends, including myself are all moving to the South West, had enough. If you a social type & not in a clique at uni, I'd recommend living up north. As many decent nights out as London, cheaper & friendly people to be around. Not many science type jobs up there though. Try Leeds, its not Newcastle.

Haha, I'm definitely going back to Newcastle in Septemeber, it was brilliant for a night out. Leeds is where I'd go for a decent night when I'm home, but I prefer Newcastle.

Not ventured that far north yet. Does everyone look like Gaz from Geordie Shore? They certainly don't down at the docks in Portsmouth & Plymouth.

Nah everyone's always looked pretty standard in my experience. When I go out in Doncaster or Sc**thorpe everyone looks like him, though. Mostly because the only people there are the morons who try to be like him, and failed to make it out of there.

This thread's gone a bit off topic ain't it, apologies OP.

Sorry OP... what are the ladies like in Newcastle? I'm used to the tender Southern, a cuddle & lets watch Made In Chelsea types.

Well tbh, other than Saturdays it's only uni students out, so most of them aren't even from Newcastle, and I guess the same as in any city really.

I never cuddled and watched Made in Chelsea with one, though.
