What's the best Festival for families ?

Hi , Me and the wife always go to Kendal Calling , this year , we want to take our 5 year old to a festival.

Any recommendations?

Depends on budget/location, but some good ones including the one Neil mentioned are

Beautiful Days (Devon)

Bearded Theory (Derbyshire)

Wickerman (Dumfries)
Belladrum (Inverness)

Wychwood (Cheltenham racecourse) has some good kids activities. Small enough not to get lost.

yep, it's a great festival for kids.

We've done Croissant Neuf twice as a family which was great but sadly is no more

We did Beautiful Days last year and it was good- not brilliant but good and the kids enjoyed it (5 and 7 at the time)

We are not doing a festival this year but are planning to hopefully do one next year and possibilities are Green Man, Shambala and maybe WOMAD. Also heard good things about Farmer Phils and Deer Shed.

Hope Neil doesn't mind me linking to another festival type site but festival kidz (http://www.festivalkidz.com/) has some good reviews from folk that have been to festival with families

Pretty sure family camping for Electric Picnic 2015 was sold out 7 days after end of the '14 festival last year. Speaks volumes.

Seconded. From personal experience, WOMAD is great for kids.

From friends, I've heard good things about Larmer Tree and Camp Bestival.
