Late arrival

I live in newcastle and my friends are travelling to T on the Friday morning and I don't finish work untill 4 on the Friday. Then I will be travelling straight up, will the gates still be open to the campsite and to collect my ticket? Would roughly be arriving about 7:30, many thanks.

Yeah you will be fine, I think they close the entrances at around 9 or 10.

Wait, so does that mean that if you are in the Arena after 2am you can't get back into the campsite?

Has it always been like that? I swear we were in the Arena at the palm stage til gone 4am last year.

It's just the main gates that are closed.
