Luggage allowance on coach

Hi everyone - first Glasto this year!

I'll be getting the coach, and I was just wondering if there were restrictions on luggage? I'll obviously be taking a rucksack of some sort (if anyone can recommend one, or a size, that would be great) - but I also wanted to take a small plastic sledge with me for dragging stuff around on while walking from the coach drop off point to the campsite - I've seen this done at other festivals and think it's a clever idea!

Also if anyone has any tips on what and how to pack efficiently it'd be much appreciated!

Hey bud. Was my first last year and was wondering the same. We were one of the last groups to board the coach and there was little room it had to be stored on the stairs and squeezed in the cleaners compartment. We had a bag each a couple of crates and a communal tent which should be fine. However, I believe it's luck of the draw as some of the first groups had y

Trolleys with many crates taking up space. Apparently some coach drivers have to tell some commuters to leave some stuff as there's not enough space / being too cheeky with their second mini fridge aha. Hope I've helped and have a fantastic festival.

The rules are... One rucksack ( I had an 85 litre) and one reasonable size tent per person. As Danwood said, some people will try to take the piss and load on trolleys and beer/cider. My driver asked peeps to remove it! I bought my air bed and chair there so as not to take up more room. It really helps with lightweight packing tho. We had a proper party on the bus and unfortunately (or fortunately) I can't remember the walk from gate A to camp. Remember everything from that point forward tho... Thank god! My mate the glasto Virgin threw up as soon as we saw the first glasto hand painted bin. Novice haha.
