OBface
The anti-touting method is covered by having your mugshot printed on the ticket. You're fine to pay with whatever card suits (though I do think it has to be a debit card, not credit). Good luck all!! Yeah I definitely wouldn't chance buying on a credit card. We were lucky but it was a horrific few days until the money had finally cleared.
ads1980
They kindly announced the resale on radio 1 this morning ( I'm sure everyone knows already anyway!) we need 2 tickets in Sunday's sale. One of our party missed out last time as we could only get 6 tickets so we had a situation where the wife had a ticket and the husband didn't! So they let her ticket go back in the pot on the hope that we can get them both a ticket in the resale!

efcfanwirral
id say we need to be ready for this to be extremely quick on sunday (not so much thursday - if you are willing to do coach fair play). if the main one took 40 minutes, it'll be like 5 this time surely

kellly
Never had to pin my hopes on the resale before and i cant contemplate missing out on tickets on a second attempt, the first was hard enough to cope with :'(
LadyP
Never had to pin my hopes on the resale before and i cant contemplate missing out on tickets on a second attempt, the first was hard enough to cope with :'( Same for me, got them every time since our first in 07, October was traumatising! Although from 6 of us in October we're now down to 2 as the rest have made other plans / financial commitments so it backs up the theory of improved odds in the resale. I have no back up plan, no other festivals, no holiday booked, I'm refusing to contemplate a year without Glasto!
Gucci Piggy
Last year's re-sale was my first attempt, and I'd never been before, so wasn't too nervous. Now, after failing in the main sale, and having been last year and knowing how desperate I am to return, I'm bricking it.
sheffieldlady
Just make sure you have all the information ready, card in front of you and you're good to go! I doubt many people will be listening to the radio and suddenly want tickets, people usually opt for summer holidays!
Joanne
I've managed to get tickets twice in the resales. Definitely going to go for the coach option to be on the safe side. Last year I got a coach ticket for my nephew on the main sale easy as pie. This year couldn't get near the landing page. Fingers crossed and good luck everyone! Never contemplate a glastonbury free year (although i did miss a year as i was heavily pregnant) that was as hard as missing out in the main sale!TV or radio was not to be turned on lol Good luck in the resale i want to believe we will have resale beginners luck!sending positive thoughts

parsonjack
? Is this new then? I thought the auto refresh was about 15 seconds? i.e. way too slow! In October I noticed that See seemed to handle the page request far quicker, as quick as I could hit refresh, so having lots of pages up and scrolling round as ask finally loaded is pointless now. I was going to have one of each type of browser and hit just refresh those manually. the auto refresh on the 'queue' page is 20 seconds.....considering you can refresh a single browser every 2 seconds once the page fails to load you would need 10 browsers on auto-refresh to match what you can do manually...and then there are the overheads of having to reload a browser when it crashes or hangs. my preferred method (see attendance record below for success rate.....) is to have a single browser of any flavour you like and to simply hit F5 immediately you get directed back to the 'queue' page. keep at it....dont stop to tweet, FB, make tea, have a sh*t, whatever until you either get a ticket or it sells out. you need to be focussed....and stay focussed....that way you wont feel like you coudl have done more if you fail...and you will feel like a giant if you get the ticket. it's the biggest 5 minutes of your year. make it count. best of luck. Just to add to this - you could always leave a phone auto refreshing on 3g / 4g also (switch off wifi), giving a second chance. We're going to have my girlfriend doing what you've described on her mobile, me doing it on the laptop and then having my phone and her work phone on 3g/4g doing that in front of us. Then my dad's trying and some people from work I may actually cry if all of that doesnt work... LadyP
Loving the positive mental attitude guys - sending luck to all of you! nathy137
First time in the resale for me, got tickets for 2013 in the main sale so I know how painful it can be (but due to unforeseen circumstances couldnt actually go that year!) What details do I actually need? I've got the registration number and name of me and my partner is there anything else I need? Don't wanna be rushing around on Sunday morning trying to find things!! Wallace
Can somebody specifically shed light on the test link, ie (http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/event/glastonbury-2015/worthy-farm-pilton-somerset/850002)? I'm worried that if I keep refreshing that page on sunday it might not work because it is a 'test page' as mentioned previously in this post. Should I try loading that page or should I go direct to glastonbury.seetickets.com?
