There used to be an organised pillow fight at Reaper's Bridge but don't think tht happens anymore, it was carnage.

 

No more trolley (like a game of chicken mixed jousting) or fire trolley (like a game of chicken mixed jousting but the trolley is on fire) at night these days as security & Tesco seem to have cracked down on trolley thefts & out of control fires. Head towards anything that sounds like this for a good time.

 

Ironically I was messaging Chris Hayter about potentially nicking trolleys from Tescos haha

The last few years they've not let you in with shopping trolleys (unless you chuck the security guards a couple of beers to look the other way, that is ).

Agreed, 2008 was the best year I remember, by some margin.

In the past it's worked for certain things. Like getting into the silent disco without having to hide cans of beer (this was the first year they didn't allow you to take them in though), and bringing beer in on Sunday evening if you run out and need a quick trip to the market stalls outside. I've never tried it with a trolley though!

 

If the trolley is for carrying beer, best bet is to buy crates from the market stalls just out of red. If you spend enough (4 or 5 buying 2 crates each or a few bottles) they'll normally throw in a granny trolley.

They aren't that great being pushed over the stones along the top of Red & are a nightmare even on the platform tracks if it's muddy

Hey guys, would it be cool if me and my 2 friends join the camp as a big group of people make a lot more fun then just a few.

We will probably get to drunk and spend the whole time at the dance tent but our intentions are to see some of the bands but that probably won't happen.

If it's anything like the last two times C&S have played it is going to be crazy in that tent.

 

09 the tent got stopped because people were climbing up the gantrys & swinging on the lights

 

13 the broken ribs incident & the set got stopped

Rebel Sound are unbelievable, I remember watching Red Bull Culture Clash at home thinking it was the greatest thing I've actually seen. 

 

Culture Clash was their initiation, the sets they've done up until now have been a build up to this. Their set a Reading is gonna be like their ultimatum, the crowd is gonna be something out of this world.
