unlike culture clash live they put on a show they start off with David rodigan dropping some old school reggae and chatting shit but they build up the music with shy fx dropping jungle then at the end chase and status come on and drop drum and bass that will melt your face! DJ Hazard Mr happy wasn't dropped at nass in the set I'm hoping it will at reading.

Rebel Sound are unbelievable, I remember watching Red Bull Culture Clash at home thinking it was the greatest thing I've actually seen.

They own that stage. Closing round 1 with that tune at 9:10

 

One of my fav moments, mates said they could hear it from the campsite over the main stage & NME.

I'm not surprised, saw C&S at 2013 just before Eminem and they were phenomenal, 2009 looks like something else though, I get goosebumps watching that video

Bands like that are always better in the tents than out in the open. 

 

Quality will be crappy as I'm showing my age a bit here, but Pendulum were in there in '08 (and again in 10 later down the set). Was pretty insane - I pretty much just collapsed by the bar after that set: 

- bear in mind that was at about 3 in the afternoon.

 

Skrillex was also pretty epic in that tent.

 

C&S were really good in 13, but they were ruined a bit by the crowd eminem seemed to draw. That day was the worst crowd I've ever seen at a festival, so many rude assholes who were more interested in causing shit than enjoying themselves. I think they had to stop their set about 4 times to tell people to stop being dicks.

Were you at the back by any chance for C&S? Reason for them stopping the show is that we were going too mad, people were getting crushed against the fences they were going so hard haha.

Yeah we were at the back as we'd just come from the dance tent - there were about 4 or 5 actual fights (not people fucking around, actual fights that were quite vicious). Maybe there was just a bad group there or something, or they might have been on something. Never seen it any other night there.

Not sure how you're getting to the festival, but keep an eye on twitter. There's normally useful info for anyone suffering from a dog allergy around reading station .

I'll be bringing some mate if you're at camp you can smoke some with me sharing is caring you may be able to buy some there but when i went last year i only saw people selling MDMA and pills and if you're into that sort of thing i wouldn't buy of a random person at a festival.

One question though - will LB and Panic be on early on the friday? I am probably not going to be able to get the day off work, so the earliest I could would be there would be 6/7. Is this too late to turn up?
