Getting a spot ethically speaking

Me and a mate been dealt an unfortunate 3pm thursday coach slot from southampton so will be turning up to glasto very late. A few of my mates are getting in early wednesday.

Do you reckon they would be able to hold down 2 camping spots for me over this period or is it less morally apprehensible / more doable, to give him our tents to set up on the wednesday?

Thoughts?

Are they going in armed? Joking aside it would be hard, in my opinion, for people to hold places in one of the popular camping fields. They'd be bad vibes running riot and your mates will not like you for putting them through it.

It would, in my opinion, be much better if you gave them your tents to take in and put up on the Wednesday. That to me if fair enough play.

I understand that the net outcome is the same but one of the options doesn't piss people off.

Yeah putting up tents for latecomers is standard practice. Has been for me anyway. Promise them a beer or two if they're whinging about space in the car or carrying stuff.
