Parking for Gate B

Where is the best place to park to enter through Gate B? Looking at the fine guide map, it would seem that the purple lots make the most sense. However, the car park map makes it look like you have to take the path all the way down south through the blue lots, then back north along the blue route, up past Gate C to get to Gate B. Is that really the case?

Also, what is the terrain like there? I've heard of the "Hill of Death" getting to Gate C, but is it very hilly getting from the car park to Gate B?

You don't get to chose which car park you go to, just east, which could be blue or purple, or west. As far as I know, and I stand to be corrected as I don't know that side very well, gate B is mainly for posh campers and crew who camp over that side.

^{They have main road just before and when traffic comes along everything stops , which I know happens at Gate C but not nearly as much}
