Very pertinent to me as I'm away for the likely resale date and at the very least need to keep these possible dates absolutely free of other stupid things like Life getting in the way of important issues.

 

Good idea, I'll see what I can find, it won't be be on the official site's news section I don't suppose. Probably more luck with the eFests site.

Also 2008 didn't have a re-sale because the deposit system started in 2009.

2008 didn't have a resale because.... it didn't sell out. There were definitely resales before the deposit system came in, though I don't remember if they were announced or not. They were after the final refund deadline which was some time in May I think?

Ah yeh, they weren't announced online I don't think, only in the local news. I remember hearing about it on the local news deff in 2004.

Anyone have any details on when the maps are released? I'm thinking I may have to relocate this year, with JP moving my lovely spot at the bottom of Michaels mead may not be so lovely anymore :-(

it can really be at any time they are ready. i dont think they have really been at set times. altho last year i remember it just appeared on the official site without any fanfare. i'd expect it to be later than average this year with the redesign. give it a  month or so?

Quick question for the exalted original Thingy info gatherers, @Brave Sir Robin, @Dukeicon and @beaver99. Can you remember where you found the full line up date for 2008 (25 May)? I've put links in for almost everything else but can't find an article for this. Ta.

The secret resale was at 3pm on 18th May last year, general admission only (no coach packages). Final refund date was 8th May.

2014 - 12th May c. 2:10pm Coach sale. 14th May Flash sale c. 1:14pm (Coach) followed by a full sale (general) c. 2:10pm. Refund deadline 9th May.

2013 - c. 1pm on both 7th (coaches) and 8th (general). Final refund date 3rd May.

Yeah, they were all I could find. 25th May was also a Sunday and whilst not unprecedented, seems an unlikely day for a full line up release.

I can't find any evidence that the full 2008 lineup came out on Sunday 25th so I've updated it to 29th as per the eFestivals article.

Just had a quick search for that and couldn't find anything on that.

A much earlier announcement date for Neil Diamond than the one on the thingy, and also says that Hot Chip are confirmed?

In 2008 tickets didn't sell out in the main sale (1st weekend in April in those days) this was not predicted and so as far is I remember they where quite panicked released the line up early to try to shift more tickets.
