I thought it’d be a certainty when he was announced all that time ago, but now that it’s only a couple of months away I do wonder if Frank is actually gonna have new music ready/released for this or if he’s literally just gonna do the Blonde tour + those loosies he’s released.

I've got 9 acts I'd see with a few a case of I'd be happy to see them. Saturday is weakest day for me easily although I'd expect Calvin Harris to be closing main stage that day. It's certainly not worth the money for me.

It's alright, nothing spectacular for sure. There are some cool bookings there and names I'd like to see (Bad Bunny being the main one) - but not really that much that would tempt me over, a lot of the names frequently do the the festival rounds and Printworks/WHP type events most years. Rosalía and Gorillaz are strong subs though I must say, and Calvin too... But yeah, not bad, nor amazing.

Coachella is aimed at early twenties Americans, I'm sure it’s great for them, but so much for anyone else.

Matt has self confessed he never knows most of the lineup, but that they end up being bigger names later on so it’s a good place to learn about them.

So when he says it’s ‘unreal’ he means it might be unreal retrospectively, based on past years, but probably like most of us hasn’t heard of a lot of them.

Then when some of them are big in a couple of years he can make you feel stupid for not knowing about them sooner.

Went Coachella in 2012. A young Kendrick on the main stage in the desert heat around 2pm with about 500 people watching him 😂
