Geocities was an mid-90's web hosting service where people could create their own websites for free. It was amazing. Was purchased by Yahoo who made it awful. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeoCities & http://archiveteam.org/index.php?title=GeoCities

Wayback managed to archive all the old sites. This is what the internet looked like in the 90's. Start changing the last 4 numbers for hours of retro fun* or changing 'hollywood' for any of the neighbourhoods listed in the Wiki link.

I can definitely see the announcement happening today actually. When we had the initial poster it was said to be coming on the Wednesday and actually came Tuesday evening - and all we are going on this time is Emily's instagram comment and a vague email - could defo see them wanting to keep people on their toes again, plus it is the 1st June which was the stated date all that time ago.

All it'll take is one or two big names jumping the gun. Happened last time with Suede, they only released The Who because that was leaked... A release this evening wouldn't come as a huge shock.
