Don't suppose this clashes with the firework thingy in Stone Circle? Want to see that again, after last year I missed the entire thing by being turned to the side talking at some random people for the entire thing, then complaining it was only 2 minutes long.

I'm sure the fireworks at the circles doesn't really get going till much later, about 10ish. I'll be going there after the meet.

This sounds excellent! I am coming to Glasto for the first time this year, and solo... first time in the UK at all, actually! So I will definitely be coming to this to meet/get tanked with some new people! I'll be the lonely American girl guzzling beers. Hi :-)

It all kicks off as the sun goes down later, I wouldn't be surprised if people wander there from the meet.

My problem, as with others, is that I keep missing these meets despite my best intentions, mostly because once I get through the gate any plans just go by the wayside and time is not a concept I'm entirely great with. This year I'm hoping to crash for an hour or 2 during the day to preserve my stamina/sobriety.

I am determined to come this year, well I say that, I am determined to come and join in, the last two years I have swung past and just kept going...struggle with new people!

I will do it this year.

It's very low-pressure don't worry - I had loads of folk I wanted to say hi to, managed about 6 of them after I got distracted happily chatting. It's all very relaxed after the ritual supplications and sacrificial offerings
