Ohh I thought they meant from the main site. Well aware of those ££££££££

The tickets are usually double and then Fly Glastonbury do cheaper caravans etc. We usually hire a van to go down anyway, so it ends up not being too dissimilar in price. It is more expensive than people want, it just saves a lot of stress, I guess. If you're willing to pay it.

Exactly this. 6 people trying each armed with minimum 3 devices preferably with each on their own ip / internet connection

I've done that with the block of IP addresses I rent ... and that was the first time I failed to get tickets in the October sale.

It's luck, nowt else.

To whoever asked, you get normal Hospitality tickets only by requesting an application from Glasto Press Office and filling it in.  You have to work in the music industry and/or be affiliated with an artist or something.

I actually work in the tech music industry so might do hospitality next year if I dont get a ticket, as can't rely on secret resales anymore :(

Hospitality tickets cost roughly £450 per ticket though :(

Also, the interstage/hospitality area is pretty soulless, the real party is outside with everyone else.

Eh? It's a lottery, so buy more tickets (have more devices on their own connections representing more people trying) I don't mean anything technical at all

Total change of thought. It's going to sound like madness but....Why don't we do a peaceful protest or revolt and try to get media attention? Or if someone is creative on her write a song or something creative and get it out there? That's the kind of thing M and E would respond to!

Michael oh Michael can I have a ticket?

i promise not to do a wee wee in the thicket

I won't leave my tent, I won't leave any litter,

All of my poops will go in the shitter.

Emily oh Emily what more can I do?

Ive been pressing F5 for a week or two

........ That's as far as I got. Don't anybody nick it

yes. have to be over seperate ip's. I see photos people with 3 or four devices set up in the same room. If they are all on the same network, all you are doing is hitting refresh more.

This is confusing to me. I thought "hitting refresh more" was exactly the point of using multiple devices. Why would they need separate IP's? Even using several different browsers (IE, Chrome, etc.) on one device is generally considered helpful, right?

You quoted me before I edited my post to say how soulless it is back there haha. The one year I went is because it was only way I could get ticket.  Met some guy who was friends with Dizzee Rascals tour manager, he was nice though actually he helped me carry my bags in because I was struggling. But once I got in I bailed hospitality camping and camped in Pennards Hill with everyone else in my group :D

imagine all the connections going into seetickets bang on the time they go live. 6 different ip's will be served before 6 of the same.

If anyone is interested in *possible* love the farm steward opportunity, let me know ASAP.

You have to 100% commit to your shifts though as it's free and you get car park. The shifts are 2 x 8pm to 5am Wednesday to Sunday and 1 x 8pm to 1am

Hi two of us would be interested if still available

Does anybody have a rough idea of how many tickets were put up for sale yesterday?  I'm sure this question has been asked many times before so sorry in advance.

I reckon around 100.

I think my imagination is failing me here. Or more likely my technical knowledge.

I'm willing to accept (for now ;)) that 6 different IP's is better than 6 of the same IP's. But you seemed to be saying that 6 devices on the same IP's would be useless, or rather would yield the same result as one device. That can't be right, can it?

Also, are you sure different devices in the same network will always have the same IP?
