Secret resales 2015

For everyone saying it was too short, how many people do you genuinely think cancel after having paid their balance just a month before?  Plus there are almost 300 people monitoring this page and hundreds in the whatsapp group. It was always going to be very, very quick.

It was Neil's text alert that did it for me so I definitely owe him a few drinks! Is there some kind of efest meet up that we do, I'd love to grab a drink there with everyone?

Pretty much this wouldn't of got them working Neil's text alerts particiularly quick and massive thanks to siblin aswell the details of his emails is great what a chap!

@eFestivals how do I go about donating some extra funds for the site cause that alert system was worth a ton more than £5 - either that or I'll buy some mugs or both!

Absolute absolutely gutting.

not for me but for a friend, i was sat down refreshing for ages, got up to get some food and refreshed whilst I was waiting, by the time I entered reg details they'd gone.

so unbelievably annoying.

So the wash-up after that hopefully first flash sale....

1. There was no change to http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/Tour/Glastonbury-2016

2. The front page changed (http://glastonbury.seetickets.com) with an added box which took you to http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/event/glastonbury-2016/worthy-farm-pilton-somerset/900001

That site is now back down again. @eFestivals - could you add http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/event/glastonbury-2016/worthy-farm-pilton-somerset/900001 to the page monitor so it alerts when it's changed (and hopefully available)?

Based on previous years enough for at least one 10+ minute sale (normally 2). While possible it doesn't seem likely that this would change so drastically in a single year.

I wonder how many people were using the pagechecker... @eFestivals? - it did give a massive advantage! Unfortunately not enough to compensate for me losing my mind as soon as I realised it was real, but I imagine that If all 300 or so people browsing this thread as well as as many non-members and facebook people were ready to go then it could easily have been a thousand tickets gone in 30 seconds.

I'm probably giving up now :(

I had the front page monitored and got a notification from it immediately

On the basis of the huge increase in people's awareness and hundreds of new people on yeah, by virtue of social media - it is what it is...painful for some nonetheless.

that alert went out to about 160 people - the people who'd selected for that page.
