I got told someone got in by wearing a hi vis and carrying a radio and pretending to be security I have 8 radios at work just need the hi vis lol

I have heard of people buying workers passes and getting in. I'd be too scared to chance it. Imagine getting all the way there and being turned away.

Siblin, out of curiousity have you been tracking http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/content/gfl-resale-landing ?

Just noticed that the commented out text says "We have a <strong>very</strong> limited amount of ticket &amp; coach packages available." - do you know if this has changed recently as the use of "very" doesn't sound in line with the previous round of resales and I wonder if it has been prepped for another round or not?

heyup - i only started monitoring that URL on tuesday. It hasnt changed since then.

my friend did the exact same thing and another pretended to be on the phone lol

Last year i got through instantly...using one browser and one tab on one laptop. Not only did i get our tickets, i went back in and got my mates tickets. THEN i spent the next 20 mins helping out people on a forum i used to go on. I still don't know why i did it other than just having the urge to help others, knowing i'd want the same.

This year in both sales i didn't get a sniff. We had several devices ready. It's really not down to a great plan of research. It's luck.

Mike's holier than thou attitude is something i've not seen on here before. It's always been a community. It's a shame there's always someone to ruin the party.

Mike...People are suggesting hiding it etc because for days we've been sat here needlessly refreshing and hoping, if it gains popularity through social media etc, people will simply turn up..buy and go. They're well within their right to of course! But it would be heartbreaking on a forum level if we all ended up missing out after wasting so much time.

Do these people go with no tent or kit? No backpack? Surely 'security' wouldn't be walking around with hi vis on, with their walkie talkies carrying all their camping gear? ...

I presume they have friends who have tickets and a car full of kit. Don't condone this kind of thing though..

lol no,Me and my friends carried there stuff in as we had tickets.obviously this would not work every time,but it has worked.

There's loads of ways, I know not having a ticket wouldn't stop me going and it hasnt

some times it's the only way mate,I've been going since I was 12 and it would kill me to miss,my birthday is also on glastonbury so more reason to go.this is obviously after I've tried every ticket option including workers tickets

This looks to me as though See have their finger on the resale trigger, but the safety catch is still applied....

I've been part-following this thread just out of interest really, a friend managed to get my ticket in the April resale. I just want to say though how much I agree with the positive community aspect here, glastonbury spirit isn't about being smug about how easily you got your ticket but about supporting those who weren't so lucky and are currently pinning their hopes on the slimmest of chances to be at the best festival in the world. Keep doing what you're doing guys, I wish you loads of luck and hope this spirit is alive and well should I be in the same situation next year!

Hello all, have lurked on the Glastonbury Forum for many years (even before it was hosted by e.festivals, but the least said about that the better I suspect!).

He's a good source and i have no reason not to trust him

What was the secret sale link last year? Is it likely to be a new link when it goes live that redirects from /content/extras or /content/gfl-resale-landing?

I need to be at some meetings next week and it would be great to know which URL to check.

I managed to get them at the resale last year whilst on the phone to my girlfriend talking about booking a holiday as we couldn't get them (and then did!) and are pinning my hopes on it this year again!
