If only GFL would take pity on us for our dedication and spare all the readers and posters here a ticket or two each, wouldn't be more than a couple of hundred tickets..... just some wishful thinking... haha....

I'd be happy with less than that, just wish GFL would confirm or deny another resale in an official statement, even if they did confirm but didnt put a date at least we'd know we're still in the game.

keep the faith mate,it defiantly happening. i think by not puting anything on yet that was there way of saying dont bother checking yet. just everyone has presumed it will be this date as it was last year

i think that, they could have someone watching this and seeing how dedicated some people are and offer us a chance to buy a ticket or two.

I'm pretty sure it will be next week with the refund issue and all that jazz, hasn't stopped me checking every hour this week, if I put this commitment into my actual work I'd be running the company now

I'm trying for my family. I work nights so I have been setting the alarm for each hour during the day. Wake up, check emails then check this forum on off chance I missed any email. Then back to sleep.

Repeat till death after falling asleep at the wheel.

I sent an email enquiry to the Festival this evening.

I told them that See Tickets had told me that there is likely to be a resale, but they didn't know when it would be, they would only know when the Festival Organisers told them.

(Remember I returned a ticket & See told me there had been a large number returned)

They replied quite quickly, this is what they said-

Another resale hasn't yet been confirmed our end, we recommend keeping a close eye on the website over the next couple of weeks, they would be available via here if they went on sale https://glastonbury.seetickets.com

So it seems that THERE WILL DEFINITELY BE A RESALE

Siblin, I need to sort out how to understand the alert system. It's so kind of you to help but I'm doing something wrong because I'm getting alerts from you every 15mins (which seems to defeat the object). I'll talk about that tomorrow when less tired.

Mostly, I just wanted to say to everyone that it's going to happen. I only wish I could have brought more accurate news about WHEN.

Just wanted to say something about the events of yesterday. Glastoguru, or whatever his bloody username is, might have given us the information about 5pm on what he thought was credible information, then again he might have been trolling us. If it was the latter I just don't get what possesses someone to do that, its fucking twisted, as is any kind of trolling tbh.

The shining light from it all is that even without tickets the spirit we've shown on here day in, day out has been incredible. I actually feel proud to be part of these forums, a community of people Ive never met actually, which will change this year when I get tickets as I'll be going to the efests meet on the Wednesday to finally put faces to names.

I even had a member contact me yesterday saying he had enough money in his bank to cover mine and my wifes ticket and if I passed on our red details he'd keep checking for me, unfortunately I need 3 tickets but still, I was absolutely blown away by the gesture and solidarity shown by him.

Good luck next week guys as I genuinely believe we are the ones who deserve these tickets as its the same people Ive seen in this topic first thing in a morning day in day out, or dedication should be rewarded.

I've actually felt like I've just been going through the motions at times, but the support and solidarity has given me renewed hope. If ultimately I don't go this year I don't think I'm going to feel quite as bad about it due to the support and help that has been offered in this thread over the last few weeks. So thank you all.

It has crossed my mind a few times that someone might throw one of these in on this thread thinking they are funny, poor form if so.

I'm looking to get a ticket for a mate, he's in last chance saloon after not getting his usual working slot, and have been checking this thread constantly for the last 5 days as well as the ticket site itself. I do hope there is a resale so it's not been wasted time for everyone on here, and fingers crossed you're all successful.

I don't think they'd do it on a Friday because it's when most new gigs go on sale. No point in creating extra work on the busiest weekday. Just a guess though you never know. I think next week could have the 'usual' timeline of sales.
