I won a tele about 20 years ago in a raffle. It was in the days before ultra slim HD tvs. It weighed more than a family car!

Problem with competitions like these is. ....

A there's no guarantee they'll even bother to go.

B they'll leave after a day because "it's not for them".

C they might be chair and blanket w*nkers.

D they're not obsessed like we are.

I know it's just so bloody unfair...same goes for all those money is no object hospitality tickets ....takes the shine off really ...typical the rich get whatever they want and ordinary joe. Lose out

As a winner of a comp I must say I love them. But I did love the format of last years EE one better, as a bit of thought went into it rather than a simple retweet. Hopefully the radio competitions will be as hard as last year so fans win after putting some effort in!

As long as they go then it's fine, everyone enjoys things in different ways. Would hate to think of someone not even bothering to go though.

Well said. I agree, everyone enjoys things in their own way and if sitting in a chair with a blanket makes you a w*nker in some people's eyes then they are the ones with the problem.

Also, (don't mean to be bitter) but have you noticed that more often then not, when comps are on social media they seem to go to 'pretty people' with a lot of followers :(

Well if that's the criteria - I'm giving up competitions.

Though I would say I have a rugged beauty - it is possibly best experienced in a very dark room or possibly when I put a bag over my head.
