2008 (last year they had trouble selling) wife bought tickets on the day I went to festival and picked them up Friday when she got there with kids. 

Complete pain in arse - but is doable assuming there aren't many tickets for them to handle

Yeah my thoughts also. They'd only have to say turn up at gate a with an confirmation email and id to prove who you are.

I believe it was guessed by another efesters a couple of weeks ago as the page that we'd have a resale on. Its now become our good luck omen and last thread of hope.

It would be funny to dress as hobbits (I'll volunteer to be Gollum on a leash) and not so secretly try climbing the barrier (in full view of the gate/staff/festival goers).  Maybe a Legolas and Gandalf for full effect.

I doubt they would take pity on us but I know I would if I were Eavis... just for the comedy value.

Wouldn't an oliphant be better? We could all climb on top of it and it could step over/destroy the fence. I'm not sure what we'd do with an oilphant once in the Festival though.

They will never know what weve been through. We'll be talked about in many many years from now. A thread in 2088 will discuss the resale crew of 2017 that never gave up 'some say they still haunt the efestival forum, still waiting for the returned 2017 tickets to come back on sale'
