Just going to throw in Jon Thorner's - local and superb, best burgers on site by far, and re pies; if they could bring some of their pies too, job done, they're lovely.

Cider - local stuff; would love to see Rich's, King Brain and Heck's on site.

And good old Roger Wilkins cider

Tried a pint of Brothers last year when I was there.I certainly have consumed a lot worse before but it really wasn't overly pleasant ..The small hip flask I had in my pocket of which the contents I can not describe on a respectable forum like this tasted divine .

Other than the Cider Bus and Brothers Bar is there anywhere which sells high strength Cider like proper Scrumpy or anything locally produced ?

I also heard Thatchers had a Craft Cider Bar.. Was any of it any good?

I quite liked the craft cider bar in Williams Green. I tried the bright orange stuff, nice and strong.

Went there, didn't sample everything, not sure I'd go out of my way to go back, but then I like it strong.

Ah cheers for the heads up. Really like Rich's Farmhouse, my local has it on as it's guest cider (all the time!) alongside Cheddar Valley and Thatcher's Traditional. Heck's perry is awesome too.

Yeah, from memory, they had Cheddar Valley and Traditional on, may have had Heritage as well. Definitely worth a sample.

Where is that located?

I'm just trying to think, it's only a small stall, it's on one of the tracks heading as if you're heading towards Pyramid, on the right hand side. But I can vouch for their burgers and also the pies, absolutely spot on they are :)

The craft cider stall was next to Williams Green (kind of tucked away in the corner between it and the food stalls, on the left if you were facing the Williams Green tent), I may have spent a tidy sum there while they still had Heritage left :P

Apparently the Grillstock stall has been refused this year too. I can understand Pieminster as they're rather large now, but Grillstock are still relatively small.

Jesus christ! At this rate I won't have anything left to eat!

Welsh Oggie between the other and dance area. Best value pie on site by a mile and does a curry version from memory. In fact one oggie can provide a 2 people snack midday :)

Used to be my favourite dinner at Glasto*, not to mention an absolute bargain.

Disappointingly they seem to have doubled in price over the last few years.

* Not the curry one, sounds awful!
