What time does teh SE corner open?

last year we didnt go till after the headliners, and couldnt really get in. this year not bothered about the headliners so was going to head down there early.

is it open all day, is there anything happening in the afternoon?

I think some of the outdoor stages have acts on throughout the day yep - and I think the main overnight bits open at 9pm from memory, although that could be wrong and I am sure I will be corrected if I am.

You can queue for a good few hours if you go straight after the headliners. I remember a few years ago my mates were already inside and after seeing Gorillaz it took me 90 mins in the queue to get in. And my mate had my gear on him so I couldn't even pass the time with a spliff!

Staged access opening from wednesday in some area's, but I think it all open access from Friday, with some 24hr entertainment area's like the Deluxe dinner, obviously the main action is from about 10pm until 5am

Last year I got up very early on Sat morning and wandered with a coffee to the SE corner - it was lovely to see em still going at it at 7.00 am !

I never once queued for more than 5 minutes to get into the SE corner after a headliner. Then again we often went back to the tent to stock up first, so we probably never got there until between 12:30 and 1, maybe the initial post-headliner rush has died down by then?

Went up an hour into Metallica last year so about 2230....no queue walked straight in....clean toilets...seats in bars...very quiet.

My wife went up during the Stones in 2013 and it was DESERTED.

sounds like a plan then. Get a few tins ready after the headliners and take a slow stroll down. I will be right next door on the Saturday after the moodies, real ale bar it is then and then to the naughty corner!
