Offsite camping

Check out Shardlow marina. A few from here have camped there and seemed very happy.

Shame the above is only for tents - or I think we might have been tempted! Otherwise, Shardlow is probably the closest - and the airport bus runs past there, so you'll have no trouble getting to and from Donington. Failing that, I think the next nearest campsites would be around the Elvaston Castle area in Derby, where there are two or three good sites - you could find yourself with quite a long walk to the bus stop from there, though!
